Life Legacy
LINCOLN – Glen R. Dupre, 20, of Pawtucket, and formerly of Lincoln, died Wednesday, October 19, of injuries sustained in an automobile accident.
Born in Woonsocket, a son of Glen Girouard of Pawtucket, and Allyson (Dupre) Girouard of Polson, MT, and step-son of Alda Rankin of Pawtucket, and Michael Giguere, Sr. of Polson, MT, he had lived in Lincoln for most of his life, before moving to Pawtucket three years ago.
Mr. Dupre was co-owner of Alda Properties. He liked to write songs, liked motorcycles, dirt bikes and fast cars, and was an avid fan of the New England Patriots.
Besides his parents and stepparents, he is survived by his paternal great-grandmother, Harriet Robertson of Lincoln; his maternal grandparents, Shirley and Roger Dupre of Woonsocket; one sister, Taryn Girouard of Bristol; one brother, Michael Giguere, Jr. of Polson, MT; one step-brother, Nick Fasano of Lincoln; his aunts and uncles, John and Nancy Girouard of Lincoln, Robert and Jessica Girouard of Lincoln, Gary and Donna Dupre of Lincoln, and Paul Dowdell of Polson, MT; and several cousins. He was the grandson of the late Sandra and Raymond Girouard, and the nephew of the late Joey Dowdell.
His funeral service will be held Tuesday, October 25, at 10:00 a.m. in BELLOWS-FALSO FUNERAL CHAPEL, 160 River Road, Lincoln. Burial will be private. Relatives and friends are invited and may call Monday from 4:00-8:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, contributions to the National MS Society, Rhode Island Chapter, 205 Hallene Rd, Suite 209, Warwick, R.I. 02886, would be appreciated.
