Marjorie A. (Potuchek) Sarkas

Lincoln - Marjorie A. (Potuchek) Sarkas, 83, of Wake Robin Road, died Sunday, April 21, 2024 at home. She was the beloved wife of the late Elias Sarkas.

Born in Pawtucket, a daughter of the late Henry and Yvonne (Tousignant) Potuchek, she had lived in Lincoln for many years.

Mrs. Sarkas worked as secretary for Hasbro and for Mary Kay, and as a hairstylist before retiring. Marjorie was a massage therapist and an artist as well, painting under the name of Emerald M.A. Sarkas.

She is survived by two daughters, Kimberly DiStefano of Cranston, and Dr. Jennifer Sarkas of Pawtucket; one son, Louis Sarkas of Yarmouthport, Mass.; one sister, Gail Bessette of St. Petersburg, FL; nine grandchildren; and two great grandchildren. She was the sister of the late Raymond Potuchek.

Her funeral service will be celebrated Friday, April 26, 2024 at 12 Noon in Bellows Funeral Chapel, 160 River Road, Lincoln. Family and friends are invited, and may attend visiting hours prior to the service from 10:00 am - 12:00 pm. Her burial will be private.
